It's Game Time

I think this is the 45th attempt at blogging, but I'm hoping this is the time that it will stick. I blogged momentarily about 'my team' the New York Islanders, but I always wanted to talk about other teams. I didn't think it was right for my Isles-only blog, so I figured I'd start a new one.

'The Energy Line' comes from the Islanders, I guess you can say, but I know there are other energy lines on the other 29 teams in the league. For a certain time last season Tim Jackman, Richard Park, and Nate Thompson (substitute another player with any of the three) came to be known as the 'energy line' during Isles' telecasts, Coach Scott Gordon, and the media.

The Energy Line always started games for us. They 'got something going' when we were losing miserably. And I loved to scream 'energyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy' during games. Just because it was funny.

So that's what I've got for now. My goal with this blog is just to comment on the game, the faces, and anything else that should come up in the NHL. And yes I realize I'm creating this blog with the regular season about to wrap up. But that's my style.

Along with that, I plan to spread the love of Sean Bergenheim. Currently my favorite Islander player.



I have a bad feeling Garth Snow is going to break my heart about his status during the off-season, but I think this admiration is forever. So join me.

Let's get something going here boys (and probably mostly girls.)
